Liz was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico and has a deep connection to New Mexican culture and communities. From an early age Liz knew she had a passion for supporting those around her, and as a child knew she wanted to be in the mental health field when she grew up. Liz earned a Bachelors in Psychology at the University of New Mexico, and then a Masters of Social Work through New Mexico State University. For the last twelve years Liz has been practicing psychotherapy via the Early Intervention model; specializing in Infant Mental Health, attachment, Child Parent Psychotherapy and reflective practice.

Liz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Mexico. She started her career as a therapist at a medically fragile daycare in Baltimore Maryland, learning quickly the complexities that come with parenting a child with high needs. It was through her work in Baltimore that she created her passion to serve Infants and toddlers and their caregivers. This passion led her to a ten year career in Early intervention at Native American Professional Parent Resources, in Albuquerque NM. At NAPPR, Liz served in many different roles, ending with the Director of the Early intervention Program. As the Director Liz was responsible for oversight of 15 employees, and 60+ contractors providing services to four different counties in New Mexico. Through her experience as Director, Liz mastered the skills necessary to provide concrete clinical and reflective support to service providers dealing with high risk, high crisis clients.

Liz holds certification and training in DBT, COS and CPP, as well as endorsement as a Level three Infant Mental Health Specialist.

On top of providing psychotherapy to all ages and demographics, Liz provides Clinical Supervision for therapists working toward their LCSW, LPCC license, as well as Reflective Supervision for those pursing infant mental health endorsement, or solely seeking the necessary support to continue to do trauma work. Liz takes a parallel process approach to all of her interactions; whether that be direct practice with a client, or clinical supervision/reflective supervision with providers; acknowledging that one must feel held in order to hold others or themselves. Liz is certified in EMDR therapy and is an Endorsed Reflective Supervisor with NMAIMH.
